Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Remote HR Assistant to help support our Human Resources Department in a variety of essential functions. The right candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient HR operations while offering significant support for the department in fulfilling our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Support onboarding processes for new employees, including preparing orientation materials and conducting initial training sessions.
- Coordinate employee benefits, leave management, and other HR-related inquiries.
- Help develop HR policies and procedures that promote a positive work environment.

- Conduct research to stay updated on HR best practices and changes in labor laws relevant to public service.
- Assist in performance management processes, including feedback and development planning for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in HR or administrative support role is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with HR metrics.
- Familiarity with HR software and databases.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
